This may seem paranoid to have one, but such a small accessory, which can save you life or that of your loved ones (children in particular), I do not see why deny it? Nothing to report, it fulfilled its function properly and helps to avoid the PV.. I've tested it on a trip to 17h in July (between 22 and 32°) and 1 week in camping. Before the trip I put it on the road for 4 hours on the 230v, leaving it empty. not very conclusive there was not a huge difference in heat with the outside. During the drive I had put in 2 bottle of water (1. 5 l) frozen in most of my provisions. It was not full but busy. Arrived at destination my food was fresh but no more. (the water out of my bottles completely thawed something that was not in the little that I have.) During the stay I had put in the awning in the shade and turned on the 230v but the drinks in there was +- 10° below ambient temperature and there was a lot of condensation that soaked everything that was in the background. (+- 2 cm of water in 4 days). Pa terrible! For the return trip without a bottle of ice cold this time, the same shall drink +- 10° below the ambient temperature. I think pelletier is too small for the volume of the cooler. In brief, it is a good alternative to the long trip with children has the condition to put ice and food already costs.
